EBECRYL® 436 is a reactive chlorinated polyester resin diluted 40% with the reactive diluent trimethylolpropane triacrylate (TMPTA)(1). EBECRYL® 436 exhibits good lithographic behavior and pigment wetting properties, and fast cure response in ultraviolet light (UV) curable coatings and inks. Cured films of EBECRYL® 436 display good adhesion to metals, plastics and paper.

VANCRYL® 950 emulsion is a very low Tg acrylic polymer designed for film printing applications in the graphic arts industry. Inks made from this polymer exhibit excellent gloss, adhesion to polyolefins, ice water crinkle resistance, and fine printing characteristics. VANCRYL® 950 also has the unusual combined properties of excellent resolubility and fast drying. These properties are needed when converting flexible packaging printing from solvent-based to water-based formulations. VANCRYL® 950 emulsion is compatible with VANCRYL® 68 pigment dispersions as well as other commonly used pigment dispersions. It also exhibits excellent compatibility with additives such as surfactants, adhesion promoters, alcohols, and waxes. VANCRYL® 950 can be used as the backbone of printing inks and overprint coatings where various COF or slide angle requirements are needed, from a range of 0.25 to 0.48.

EBECRYL® P39 is a polymeric benzophenone derivative that functions as the photosensitizer in hydrogen abstraction type radical photoinitiator systems. EBECRYL® P39 has been designed for use in the formulation of UV coatings that exhibit little or no odor after curing. Recommended levels are from 8 to 10% based on total formulation. EBECRYL® P39 should be used in combination with amine co-initiators such as EBECRYL® P115 or EBECRYL® 7100, or with amine modified acrylate resins. EBECRYL® P39 is a polymer preparation manufactured in the European Union with (pre)registered monomers/reactants and REACH compliant.

PETIA is a multifunctional reactive diluent with a high degree of acrylic unsaturation and finds use in a variety of ultraviolet light (UV) and electron beam (EB) curable coatings and ink systems where a high degree of crosslinking is desired. PETIA is a mixture of predominantly the tri- and tetra-acrylate esters of pentaerythritol. PETIA has a higher ratio of tri - to tetra-acrylate ester than the similar product EBECRYL 180, and therefore remains liquid at normal ambient temperatures.
