Its high extent of alkylation and hydrophobic nature make the CYMEL® U-80 Resin suitable for a wide range of coating applications, including high solids primers for automotive, general industrial, and container coatings, providing improved film flexibility and adhesion to various substrates. CYMEL® U-80 resin is insoluble in water but can be used in emulsified form as a crosslinking agent in water-dispersible alkyds, acrylic resins, and in emulsion systems.

Its hydrophobic nature combined with high reactivity, high solids content, and rather low formaldehyde release during the curing process makes CYMEL® 202 Resin suitable for a wide range of medium to high solids or waterborne baking applications, like can and container coating formulations, automotive coatings, and low cure systems to improve film appearance and resistance properties. Additin® RC 2516 is a deactivated, medium active, light colored, low odor, high viscosity sulfur carrier with good solubility even in nonpolar base oils. Due to its excellent polarity and lubricity in combination with a controlled sulfur activity, it is particularly suited for manufacturing metalworking fluids for medium to heavy duty stamping, fine blanking and metal forming processes. The low copper corrosivity makes it also suitable for machining yellow metal alloys. It is also highly recommended for the formulation of EP greases, slideway oils and industrial gear oils.
