RHOPLEX® 2500 is designed for tough, water-resistant masonry paints and primers. Coatings based on RHOPLEX® 2500 possess very good adhesion to masonry substrates, excellent durability (gloss and tint retention, and dirt pickup resistance), and the ability to retard efflorescence in cured cementitious products.

RHOPLEX® 2601 Emulsion is a versatile binder designed for interior and exterior coatings and can be formulated across a broad PVC range. For exterior durability, higher coalescent levels may be needed to ensure good film formation in higher PVC paints. While RHOPLEX® 2601 Emulsion is a harder latex binder, it should be noted that it is possible to develop low VOC paints with the use of low VOC coalescents (i.e. DOWANOL™ LoV 485 Glycol Ether, Optifilm 400, etc.).

RHOPLEX® 2620 emulsion is a 100% acrylic latex binder designed for high-performance translucent and lightly filled sealants. This high solids, low Tg emulsion can be formulated without plasticizer to meet the performance requirements of ASTM C920 Class 12.5 and Class 25. Sealants formulated with RHOPLEX® 2620 exhibit excellent durability and water resistance as well as exceptional adhesion.

RHOPLEX® 4400 emulsion is a 100% acrylic latex binder designed to provide wide formulation latitude for caulks and sealants. These high solids, low Tg emulsion can be formulated without plasticizer to meet the performance requirements of ASTM C920 Class 12.5 to 35 and ASTM C-834 Grade -18°. Sealants formulated with RHOPLEX® 4400 provide reduced dirt pick-up, mildew growth and paint discoloration, as well as excellent weatherability.

RHOPLEX® 585 is a 100% acrylic binder designed for premium exterior performance in flat and satin Architectural Coatings. It is supplied at high solids for formulation flexibility and does not contain any APEO (alkyl phenol ethoxylate) surfactants. The low coalescent demand of RHOPLEX® 585 allows the formulator to meet the 50g/VOC regulations while still maintaining some freeze thaw stability. Due to its 100% acrylic composition, RHOPLEX® 585 offers good exterior durability.

RHOPLEX® 800h was developed to allow for early hardness development in low VOC glossy paints particularly in deep tones. RHOPLEX® 800h unique morphology with ambient crosslinking enables improved hardness, tackiness, block resistance and feel properties.

RHOPLEX® AC-1034 is a styrenated acrylic copolymer with a distinct composition that imparts excellent water resistance as well as a good degree of flexibility. It is designed for use in edge- sealer products and offers very good compatibility with high levels of waxes and fillers, which are often used in such products. RHOPLEX® AC-1034 can also be used as a clear primer or sealer coat to provide water resistance.

RHOPLEX® AC-2235M is a 100% acrylic binder designed for use in exterior flat and sheen latex housepaints. The polymer provides a high degree of adhesion and durability. Film build and flow and leveling, however, are not as good as with newer acrylic binders. RHOPLEX® AC-2235M Acrylic Emulsion Polymer is designed to provide the same properties and performance as RHOPLEX® AC-235 in paint formulations, but at a lower price. RHOPLEX® AC-2235M may be substituted on a pound- for-pound basis for RHOPLEX® AC-235. As with any raw material substitution, key properties, such as adhesion and color acceptance, should be evaluated.

RHOPLEX® AC-2508 is designed for exterior semigloss house and trim paints. It is closely related to RHOPLEX® AC-507 and RHOPLEX® AC-2507 Acrylic Binders, but with a slightly harder polymer composition for a bit better resistance to dirt pickup and blocking. Also, the product provides more "robust" wet adhesion, in that there is less drop-off in adhesion when formulated with polyacid dispersants, and anionic rheology modifiers. Coalescent demand of RHOPLEX® AC-2508 in most formulations is 10% Texanol ester alcohol by weight of binder solids.

RHOPLEX® AC-261LF is an all-acrylic emulsion polymer for latex floor paints. Its adhesion and abrasion resistance have been designed for this application. It is also suitable for quality exterior semi-gloss trim paints.

RHOPLEX® AC-264 is a unique high solids, 100%-acrylic emulsion vehicle for exterior latex paints which provides a high level of adhesion to chalky substrates. The product represents a slight modification of RHOPLEX® AC-64 is recommended as a substitute for the latter product. As when making any raw material change, the formulator should check key properties such as color acceptance and adhesion.
