Product Applications
  • AP 1072 LT is used in combination with liquid Epoxy resins or solid epoxy resin solution or epoxy resins modified by means of reactive diluents or non-reactive diluents.
  • AP 1072 LT is suitable for making high solids coating compositions with a workable wide range of Pot lives.
  • AP 1072 LT is suitable for application with standard one-component airless spray systems.
  • AP 1072 LT is ideal for marine and protective coatings e.g. tank coatings, structural steel, concrete flooring etc.

Properties

Physical Form
Key Properties
  • Rapid cure at low temperature down to 0 °C (32 °F).
  • High levels of mechanical stability.
  • Good chemical resistance.
  • Resistance to aqueous alkaline, acid and saline solutions.
  • Good corrosion resistance.
  • Due to Phenolic nature of AP 1072LT coatings based on it are likely to change colour of the film when exposed to heat and sunlight.

Regulatory & Compliance

Contains any chemicals listed on Prop 65 (including impurities, residues, catalysts, monomers, and by-products and excluding heavy metals)?

Storage & Handling

Storage Conditions
  • AP 1072LT should be stored in a dry place, preferably in the sealed original container at temperatures 5 to 30°C.
  • The Product should not be stored exposed to direct sunlight.
Handling Information

The hardener will absorb moisture and carbon dioxide when left in open containers. This may result in increased viscosity and sometimes crystallization. Use personal protective equipments and follow industrial hygienic procedures. Recommended to use safety glasses, protective clothing, gloves, & masks suitable for chemical, solvents & their vapor.
