Properties
- Physical Form
- Product Properties
Epoxy coating systems cured with AP 6004 present the following features.
- Excellent combination of rapid cure and long pot life at ambient & low temperatures.
- Light dry and wet color for broad color range and use in tinting systems.
- Good workability for > 80% solids formulations.
- Good adhesion to poorly prepared surfaces and difficult substrates.
- Excellent flexibility and impact resistance.
- Compatible with most epoxy resins, solvents and their blends.
- Excellent corrosion resistance and early water resistance.
Storage & Handling
- Storage Conditions
- AP 6004 should be stored in a dry place, preferably in the sealed original container at temperatures 15 to 30°C.
- The Product should not be stored exposed to direct sunlight.
- Handling Information
- The hardener will absorb moisture and carbon dioxide when left in open containers.
- This may result in increased viscosity and sometimes crystallization.
- Use personal protective equipments and follow industrial hygienic procedures.
- Recommended to use safety glasses, protective clothing, gloves, & masks suitable for chemical, solvents & their vapor.
