- Chain lubricants
- Way oils
- Aerosol lubricants
- Application Instruction:
- For best results, use BONDERITE® S-AD 1275 ACHESON at 1% graphite solids by weight in the finished oil. This is approximately 10% by weight of BONDERITE® S-AD 1275 ACHESON.
- Companion Products:
- BONDERITE® S-AD 1286 ACHESON, a molybdenum disulfide engine oil additive, is recommended when the use of molybdenum disulfide is preferred over graphite. The same particle fineness and excellent stability are available in BBONDERITE® S-AD 12786 ACHESON as are in BONDERITE® S-AD 1275 ACHESON.
- BONDERITE® S-AD 1710 ACHESON, boron nitride oil dispersion, is recommended when the use of boron nitride is preferred.
- When desiring a whitish color for your product, consider BONDERITE® S-AD 1614 ACHESON, PTFE oil dispersion, or BONDERITE® S-AD 1710 ACHESON, a boron nitride in oil dispersion with more robust extreme temperature capability.
- Usage Information:
- Dilution:
- BONDERITE® S-AD 1275 ACHESON can be blended with most commercially available oils. The services of Acheson Colloids Company’s laboratories are available to advise and/or evaluate the compatibility of BONDERITE® S-AD 1275 ACHESON with proposed diluents, oils and additive combinations.
- BONDERITE® S-AD 1275 ACHESON is compatible with oil additive treatments. When blending large quantities, heat the oil to 50°-55°C (122°-131°F) to reduce the viscosity. Stir the BONDERITE® S-AD 1275 ACHESON thoroughly to achieve a uniform consistency, and then premix equal parts of the BONDERITE® S-AD 1275 ACHESON and the oil diluent before blending with the balance of the heated oil. Add the premixed BONDERITE® S-AD 1275 ACHESON to the heated oil and continue agitation until the blend is uniform.
