- CRAYVALLAC® WN-1110 is a micronised modified polypropylene wax conforming to FDA 175.300.
- CRAYVALLAC® WN-1110 is especially advised for applications which require high quality appearance, thanks to its purposely designed particle size distribution
- CRAYVALLAC® WN-1110 is readily dispersed into coating formulations using a variety of techniques e.g. high-speed dispersers, bead mills and triple roll mills.
- In general, micronised waxes are best incorporated into coating systems by premixing with the binder. Alternatively, waxes may be added to the formulation immediately following the dispersion stage but prior to the final letdown.
- Due to the multitude of formulations, processing methods and application conditions used in the field, it is strongly recommend that all products containing CRAYVALLAC® WN-1110 be tested thoroughly to ensure suitability for their intended end use
- Performance Benefits
- Easily dispersed micronised powder
- Matting agent for use in a wide range of applications
- Imparts a smooth, silky feel and appearance
- Provides improved transparency in thin layers
- Enhances slip
- Improves rub, abrasion and scratch resistance
CRAYVALLAC® WN-1110 is especially recommended for:
- Industrial wood finishing
- Can and Coil coatings
CRAYVALLAC® WN-1110 is suitable for use in a wide range of solvent-based and water-based applications, including:
- Powder coatings
- Metal decorating
- General industrial coatings
