D2EHA is a diester of 2-ethylhexanol. It can be used as a base stock fluid or as a lubricity additive for automotive and industrial lubricant applications. D2EHA can also be used as a plasticizer for polyvinyl chloride, chloroethylene copolymer, polystyrene, nitrocellulose, ethyl cellulose, and synthetic rubber.
