Solvent Composition Concentration (%) Basis Methanol/H₂O 95/5 30-50 Based on dry weight of HFGEL 120-B
Ethanol/H₂O 95/5 30-50 Based on dry weight of HFGEL 120-B
Propylene Carbonate/H₂O 25-35 Based on dry weight of HFGEL 120-B
Acetone/H₂O 50-60 Based on dry weight of HFGEL 120-B
- Incorporation Information
- HFGEL 120-B does not require heat or a chemical activator in medium to high polarity systems to reach the proper activation. HFGEL 120-B should be dispersed in resin/ solvent for at least 30 minutes followed by wetting agents and pigments.
- For some low polarity systems, use of a chemical activator is required. It is recommended to determine the optimum level by experiment as defect or excess of activator yields weaker viscosity development.
