Product Applications

Application Coatings

  • Hostanox® O 3 powder is recommended especially for the applications where polymers and/or binders are cured at elevated temperature and need thermo-stabilization, e.g. powder coatings, coil coatings and specific solventborne coatings.

Application Plastics

  • Hostanox® O 3 powder is recommended for the stabilization of polyolefins (PP, HDPE, LLDPE), Polyamides, ABS, styrenic polymers, polyesters, synthetic elastomers adhesives, and many other organic substrates and in particular for engineering thermoplastic elastomers with a high extraction resistance.
  • In combination with sulphur containing co-stabilizers, such as Hostanox® SE 10 and Hostanox® SE 4, it leads to a pronounced synergistic effect concerning long term thermal stability respectively oven life.
