Licocene® PE MA 4351 fine grain

Licocene® PE MA 4351 fine grain is a highly grafted maleic anhydride polyethylene wax with advantageous physical properties e. g. for powder coating applications. The maleic anhydride modified polyethylene creates structured surfaces in combination with titanium dioxide. The roughness depends on the ratio of titanium dioxide to Licocene® PE MA 4351 fine grain. Licocene® PE MA 4351 fine grain is used as an efficient coupling agent for glass-, wood-, natural fibre and inorganic filled PE compounds.

Applications & Uses

Coating End Applications
Industrial Additives End Use
Product Applications
  • Licocene® PE MA 4351 fine grain is a highly maleic anhydride grafted polyethylene wax.
  • It is preferable used for polyethylene based reinforced compounds in the concentration range of 1 – 3 %.
  • The concentration depends on the particle size, the kind and amount of the reinforcing material.
  • Therefore the optimum concentration has to be determined individually in specific tests.
  • Licocene® PE MA 4351 fine grain is a highly efficient compatibilizer and dispersing aid for glass- natural-, mineral- and wood fibre reinforced Polyethylene as well as for inorganic filled Polyethylene compounds especially for highly filled compounds.
  • Used in hot melt formulations, Licocene® PE MA 4351 fine grain offers improved adhesion and cohesion combined with a high heat resistance.
