OPTI-MATT™ A-2000LV Duller

OPTI-MATT™ A-2000LV Duller is a silica-free duller with enhanced dulling capabilities, soft touch, and excellent product stability. It is designed to be the “dull” component for esthetically appealing furniture leather topcoats with high physical performance requirements. This duller offers a soft touch to topcoat finishes and enables good physical performance, including exceptional burnish resistance and excellent rub fastness and flexibility. It is supplied as a low-medium viscosity liquid that is particularly easy to handle and formulate, while retaining good storage stability. Minimal mixing is required to help ensure uniformity.

  • OPTI-MATT™ A-2000LV Duller contains an inherently soft, film forming duller to be used for medium to low gloss, pigment free furniture topcoats. It can be used as the sole topcoat in furniture topcoats. For higher gloss furniture applications, OPTI-MATT™ A-2000LV Duller can be combined with a bright binder component to increase the gloss of the topcoat.
  • OPTI-MATT™ A-2000LV Duller is compatible with most acrylic emulsions and polyurethane dispersions. When used in furniture topcoats, OPTI-MATT™ A-2000LV Duller offers a combination of medium to low gloss and outstanding color clarity in pigment-free topcoats.

Storage Conditions
  • OPTI-MATT™ A-2000LV Duller has very good stability under typical storage and transport conditions.
  • However, it is recommended to avoid temperature extremes.
  • Do not freeze; store between 4- 40°C. Use corrosion resistant tanks and piping.
