EBECRYL® 4859 is a difunctional aliphatic urethane methacrylate that does not contain any intentionally added organic tin compounds, heavy metals*, hydroquinone (HQ) or methyl ether of hydroquinone (MEHQ). (Please note that quinones are present in many raw materials, so the overall quinone content is reduced, but not zero in EBECRYL 4859.) Due to a low intrinsic viscosity, EBECRYL 4859 offers ease of formulating in energy curable systems that are low in viscosity with high oligomer content. Films of EBECRYL 4859 cured by ultraviolet light (UV) or electron beam (EB) exhibit good hardness, optically clarity, low color and good impact resistance.

EBECRYL® LEO 10801 is a hexafunctional polyester acrylate oligomer that provides high reactivity and the proper ink-water balance necessary for good lithographic printing. Lithographic inks based on EBECRYL® LEO 10801 display excellent rheological properties ensuring good ink transfer from the printing plate to the blanket and then to the substrate, combined with good dot definition. EBECRYL® LEO 10801 has been specifically developed to formulate UV/EB curable inks with low extractables and low odor for indirect food contact applications.

EBECRYL® 640/20 TO is a modified diacrylate ester of bisphenol A epoxy resin. This product is characterized by its light color, fast cure response and improved pigment wetting. Films of EBECRYL®640/20 TO cured by ultraviolet light (UV) or electron beam (EB) exhibit high surface hardness and gloss and the excellent solvent resistance typical of an epoxy resin. EBECRYL®640/20 TO finds broad use in UV/EB applications, such as inks, coatings and overprint varnishes.

EBECRYL® 8213 is an aliphatic urethane acrylate with 70% solid content diluted in butyl acetate. EBECRYL® 8213 exhibits good yellowing resistance and very good outdoor resistance. Furthermore this resin provides very good adhesion onto aluminium-based vacuum metallization layer and most metallic basecoats for plastic coating.

EBECRYL® 210 is an aromatic urethane diacrylate. Films of EBECRYL 210 cured by ultraviolet light (UV) or electron beam (EB) exhibit good flexibility, low color and good adhesion to various substrates.

TRIGLYCIDYL ISOCYANURATE JF-77C is an isocyanurate-based crystalline polyepoxide compound, its molecular weight is 297 (CAS Number: 2451-62-9), and it owns good heat resistance, weather resistance, adhesive, and high-temperature performance.

Dynasylan® AMEO is a bifunctional silane possessing a reactive primary amino group and hydrolyzable ethoxysilyl groups. The dual nature of its reactivity allows Dynasylan® AMEO to bind chemically to both inorganic materials (e.g. glass, metals, fillers) and organic polymers (e.g. thermosets, thermoplastics, elastomers) thus functioning as an adhesion promoter, crosslinker, and/or surface modifier.

EBECRYL® 830 is a polyester hexa-acrylate that exhibits fast cure response and moderate viscosity. Films of EBECRYL 830 cured by ultraviolet light (UV) or electron beam (EB) demonstrate good abrasion and scratch resistance, solvent resistance and hardness.

EBECRYL® 8701 is an aliphatic urethane triacrylate designed to bridge the gap between high surface hardness and excellent outdoor durability. EBECRYL® 8701 can be used in applications requiring a combination of hardness, increased Tg, chemical resistance, and outdoor durability. Films ofEBECRYL® 8701 cured by ultraviolet light (UV) or electron beam (EB) exhibit a unique combination of surface hardness and outdoor durability typically not found in one molecule. Over time, EBECRYL® 8701 may crystallize to a waxy solid form.

CYMEL® 3745N Resin is a highly methylated melamine crosslinker designed for use in both solvent-borne and waterborne industrial finishes. Its high functionality and low tendency to self-condense promotes excellent formulated stability and results in films with very good hardness development, flexibility, formability, and resistance properties making it suitable for a wide range of coating applications, like can and container coatings, foil coatings, automotive coatings and waterborne formulations.

UCECOAT® 6570 is a 3 functional aliphatic urethane acrylate oligomer diluted with 5% water. This water dilutable urethane acrylate is particularly useful in screen inks and varnishes for water based applications; giving good water- and solvent resistance after curing by ultraviolet light (UV) or electron beam (EB).

EBECRYL® 3300 is a highly reactive epoxy acrylate, diluted in DPGDA. When formulated and cross-linked with other suitable radiation curable oligomers and reactive diluents, it results in durable, hard-elastic and chemically resistant coating films of high quality. For UV curing a suitable photoinitiator must be added to the formulation. The addition level depends on the line speed, number of lamps and thickness of the coating film.

EBECRYL® CTFA is a mono-functional monomer with low viscosity, good hardness and good hard solvent resistance. It can provide fast curing speed and good film performance.

EBECRYL® 896 is a multifunctional monomer which polymerizes when exposed to sources of free radicals. It is composed primarily of the pentaacrylate and hexaacrylate esters of dipentaerythritol. EBECRYL® 896 is particularly useful in UV (ultraviolet) and EB (electron beam) curable inks and coatings where improved cure response, hardness and scratch/abrasion resistance are required.
