RHOPLEX® SG-10AF is a versatile 100% copolymer that was designed for use in high-quality interior/exterior semigloss paints. RHOPLEX® SG-10AF provides paint formulators with an opportunity to achieve excellent early and ultimate block resistance, and very good flow and leveling. RHOPLEX® SG-10AF establishes a new level of performance for aqueous semigloss applications.

ELVACE® 737 are high solids, PVOH stabilized, APEO free, carboxylated vinyl acetate-ethylene copolymer.

RHOPLEX® 585 is a 100% acrylic binder designed for premium exterior performance in flat and satin Architectural Coatings. It is supplied at high solids for formulation flexibility and does not contain any APEO (alkyl phenol ethoxylate) surfactants. The low coalescent demand of RHOPLEX® 585 allows the formulator to meet the 50g/VOC regulations while still maintaining some freeze thaw stability. Due to its 100% acrylic composition, RHOPLEX® 585 offers good exterior durability.

RHOPLEX® AC-337N is designed for use in semi-transparent stains. This binder provides an extremely hydrophobic film, leading to excellent water resistance and reduced liquid water permeability. RHOPLEX® AC-337N Acrylic Emulsion has been developed to react more efficiently with associative thickeners, leading potentially to lower formulation cost. RHOPLEX® AC-337N Acrylic Emulsion also shows improved color acceptance and alkyd compatibility. The 100% acrylic backbone ensures the high standard of tint retention, crack resistance, chalk resistance, and alkali resistance. The outstanding adhesion technology will ensure excellent adhesion to wood. The in-can clarity makes it possible to prepare transparent and semi-transparent stains with more attractive application properties than conventional alkyd emulsion or acrylic emulsion based stains.

RHOPLEX® SG-30 is a revolutionary emulsion designed to meet the needs of new regulations for 150 g/L VOC semigloss interior and exterior architectural paints. RHOPLEX® SG-30 provides paint manufacturers an opportunity to formulate at lower VOC while maintaining key properties of conventional (250 g/L VOC) semigloss architectural paints.The results of laboratory tests comparing the performance properties of RHOPLEX® SG-30 formulated to 150 g/L VOC to a conventional 250 g/L VOC semigloss emulsion are included in this bulletin.

AVANSE™ ST-410 is a new high-performance, 100% acrylic, waterborne polymer can be formulated to meet the toughest VOC standards and still outperform traditional solvent and waterborne semitransparent stain technologies. Semitransparent stains based on AVANSE™ ST-410 Acrylic Emulsion do not require coalescent or heavy metal driers, they are easy to apply, and they enhance the appearance of new and weathered wood with a long-lasting finish. In addition, the combination of morphology and unique particle stabilization maximizes the flow and lapping characteristics during application, while building early resistance properties upon drying.

RHOPLEX® 2500 is designed for tough, water-resistant masonry paints and primers. Coatings based on RHOPLEX® 2500 possess very good adhesion to masonry substrates, excellent durability (gloss and tint retention, and dirt pickup resistance), and the ability to retard efflorescence in cured cementitious products.

MAINCOTE™ 4950 Resin is an aqueous acrylic emulsion polymer that facilitates the formulation of coatings to less than or equal to 50 g/L VOC for use in light to medium duty maintenance and protective coatings applications and general industrial metal finishing applications. It offers excellent exterior durability and corrosion resistance, and ease of formulation with excellent paint stability. MAINCOTE 4950 Resin offers improved corrosion resistance versus current direct-to-metal (DTM) finish coats formulated below 100 g/L. It also offers good architectural gloss and trim paint properties. Low coalescent demand allows compliance with stringent VOC regulations.

RHOPLEX® WL-100 is an acrylic-styrene copolymer designed for high-gloss, high-DOI (Distinctness of Image) waterborne plastic coatings where an attractive appearance and excellent dry and wet adhesion are important considerations. The favorable colloidal stability (robustness) of RHOPLEX® WL-100 accommodates a broad range of formulation types and formulation process techniques, providing the formulator with a versatile binder for a variety of applications. Robustness, along with 50% weight solids, allows the formulator to achieve volume solids above conventional waterborne binders.

ROVACE™ 9900 Emulsion Polymer represents the new generation of vinyl acrylic binders for architectural coatings. This unique binder sets a new standard of performance for architectural paints. ROVACE 9900 Emulsion Polymer does not require the use of coalescing solvents for film formation and application properties. This new, state of the art solvent-free PVA demonstrates comparable or even higher scrub resistance than the best of the high scrub PVAs at various PVC levels and volume solids. The other distinct advantage is the low odor, both in the form of emulsion and also in finished paint. Excellent pigment binding allows a wide range of pigment volume concentrations from flat to semigloss with outstanding properties.

ROVACE™ 10 Vinyl Acrylic Emulsion is a durable, general-purpose vinyl acrylic emulsion designed for use in architectural coatings. It can be formulated over a wide range of pigment volume concentrations to provide cost effective, low odor, and improved environmental paint systems. It requires little or no coalescing solvents to form a continuous film at low temperatures. ROVACE 10 is made with no APEO -containing surfactants. In addition, ROVACE 10 offers excellent processing capabilities making it easy to pump and handle during the manufacturing process.

RHOPLEX® DCR-317 is an aqueous all-acrylic emulsion polymer designed for formulating into high solids Deck and; Concrete Restoration coatings. Restoration coatings can be formulated with RHOPLEX® DCR-317 Binder to help provide excellent flexibility and dirt pick- up resistance, in addition to adhesion to concrete and well-weathered wood.

RHOPLEX® HG-98C is an acrylic emulsion polymer designed specifically for low solvent content, aqueous gloss enamels with excellent appearance and resistance properties. RHOPLEX® HG-98C uses ambient temperature crosslinking technology to offer improved performance versus conventional polymers. It has excellent hardness development and durability for high traffic interior applications.

RHOPLEX® VSR-50 is a 100% acrylic latex designed for premium architectural flat to gloss interior and exterior coatings. Its low coalescent demand allows the formulator to meet 50 g/L VOC regulations with some freeze-thaw capability. RHOPLEX® VSR-50 offers excellent surfactant leaching, water resistance properties, and alkali resistance. It provides proven superior exterior durability after several years of exposure over a variety of substrates such as wood, metal, and masonry for dirt pick-up resistance, efflorescence resistance, crack resistance, and tint retention. It is easy to formulate, slurry compatible, and has good block resistance.
