Focus Ester PA 125 is a unique synthetic polymerized ester designed to boost performance and enhance finish in severe metalworking applications. Focus Ester PA 125 is oil-soluble but can be used to make high performance soluble oil and semi-synthetic machining coolants, as well as drawing and stamping fluids. Focus Ester PA 125 has molecular weight that gives it a perfect structure to replace chlorinated paraffins. It is a branched-chain fatty acid, which offers the highest level of thermal and hydrolytic properties. Also, it is expected to be less susceptible to bacterial attack than conventional fatty esters. In addition to replacing chlorine, Focus Ester PA 125 can be used to replace or reduce treat levels of all boundary and EP additives, like phosphorous, sulfur, lard oil, blown oil and other fatty friction modifiers.
