ACRYSOLâ„¢ RM-7 Rheology Modifier is a remarkably versatile hydrophobically modified alkali-soluble emulsion (HASE) thickening agent for latex coatings. Like other HASE modifiers, ACRYSOLâ„¢ RM-7 Rheology Modifier offers a nearly Newtonian rheology profile with lower viscosity in low-shear conditions and higher viscosity in high-shear conditions than cellulosic thickeners deliver. As a result, it can produce paints with a very desirable combination of good flow/leveling and film build properties. ACRYSOLâ„¢ RM-7 Rheology Modifier is distinguished by a capacity to generate high-shear viscosity very efficiently, a feature that makes it exceptionally well suited to use with all acrylic emulsions, being developed for low-VOC, non flat waterborne paints.

ACRYSOLâ„¢ SCT-275 Rheology Modifier is recommended for use in flat to semigloss paints and primers for both exterior paints and premium interior paints.It is especially suited to replace or be blended with conventional cellulosic thickeners where improved flow and leveling, increased hiding, and spatter resistance is desired. ACRYSOLâ„¢ SCT-275 Rheology Modifier is particularly suited for low solids, vinyl acrylic formulations where it yields excellent flow/sag balance, color acceptance, and syneresis resistance.
