ACRYSOLâ„¢ DR-6600 offers the same performance as ACRYSOL RM-6, but without the use of APEO surfactants. ACRYSOL DR-6600 offers excellent gloss, film build and flow in latex paints. ACRYSOL DR-6600 is both APEO-free and solventfree and is thus well suited to meeting the latest regulatory requirements, under the proper conditions, for waterborne paints and coatings. ACRYSOL DR-6600 is effective in improving the high shear (ICI Cone and; Plate) viscosity, resulting in coatings that have high film build characteristics for improved hiding and appearance. Other benefits to the manufacturer include a virtual absence of roller spatter and the full realization of gloss potential for latex paints. Since ACRYSOL DR-6600 is of the hydrophobically-modified alkali-soluble chemistry it offers excellent long-term viscosity stability because it is inherently resistant to degradation through both enzymatic and bacterial routes.
