Additin® RC 3775

Additin® RC 3775 is a chemical blend used as an anti-wear agent and extreme pressure additive in gear oils, hydraulic oils, industrial oils, metalworking fluids, and turbine & compressor fluids. It is applied at a dosage of 0.2-1.5% (w/w). The product provides excellent wear protection, extreme pressure performance, good load-carrying capacity, high viscosity, and is an ashless additive suitable for various lubricating applications such as compressor oils, honing oils, and turbine oils.

  • Additin® RC 3775 is an ashless EP and antiwear additive for formulating industrial lubricants and metalworking fluids.
  • The recommended treatment levels in metalworking fluids are in the range 0.2 to 1.5 % by weight Additin® RC 3775.
  • By virtue of its specially selected raw materials Additin® RC 3775 is ideally suited for formulating high temperature lubricants.
  • In combination with suited antioxidants and corrosion inhibitors or packages, e.g. RC 9308 (approx. 0.3 % b.w.), Additin® RC 3775 (approx. 0.25 % b.w.) can be used for the formulation of ashless hydraulic fluids and other industrial oil with FZG load carrying capacity.

Storage and Handling Conditions
  • Stored in a dry place at room temperature approx. 24 months
  • Handling before using Additin® RC 3775 it should be heated up to approx. 80°C. Local overheating - above 100°C - must be avoided
