AP 1023 is a low viscosity solvent free curing agent for epoxy based compositions. It allows formulating solvent free or high solid epoxy coatings. It exhibits rapid cure, even at low temperatures with workable pot life and have the ability to resist moisture while curing making ideal for all season cure surface tolerant coating.

  • AP 1023 is used in combination with liquid epoxy resins or solid epoxy resin solutions or epoxy resins modified by means of reactive as well as non-reactive diluents. Suitable for making high-solids coating compositions with a workable wide range of pot lives.
  • AP 1023 is suitable for application with standard one-component airless spray systems. Ideal for marine, protective, and industrial coatings.

Storage & Handling

Storage Conditions
  • AP 1023 should be stored in a dry place, preferably in the sealed original container at temperatures 5 to 30°C.
  • AP 1023 should not be stored exposed to direct sunlight. Shelf life: (5 to 30°C): 12 months.
  • Hazardous decomposition products: (When in fire) carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxides, and other toxic gases and vapors.
Handling Information
  • AP 1023 will absorb moisture & carbon dioxide when left in open containers. This may Result in increased viscosity & sometimes crystallization.
  • AP 1023 may shows fumes in Presence of high humidity (>40% RH) and in acidic environment.
  • Use personal protective Equipments & follow industrial hygienic procedures.
  • Recommended to use safety glasses, sentence case Protective clothing, gloves, & masks suitable for chemical and solvents & their vapor.
