Product Applications

It is used in combination with liquid Epoxy resins or solids epoxy resin solution or epoxy resin modified by means of reactive as well as non-reactive diluents. Suitable for application with standard one-component airless spray systems. Ideal for marine and protective coatings e.g. structural steel, concrete surface. Can be used in Epoxy Polyamide type of Structural adhesives, Sealants, Putties, Casting, Laminating etc.

Properties

Physical Form
Product Properties

Epoxy coating systems cured with AP 5212 present the following features.

  • Suitable for ambient temperature cure.
  • High levels of mechanical stability.
  • Good adhesion to marginally prepared surfaces.
  • Resistance to aqueous alkaline, acid and saline solutions.
  • Good corrosion resistance.

Safety & Health

Handling Precautions

The hardener will absorb moisture and carbon dioxide when left in open containers. This may result in increased viscosity and sometimes crystallization. Use personal protective equipments and follow industrial hygienic procedures. Recommended to use safety glasses, protective clothing, gloves, & masks suitable for chemical, solvents & their vapor.
