Dosage Information
  • The quantity of Bluesil™ BP 9821 to be incorporated varies according to the required properties.
  • Typically, the recommended ratio is between 10% and 50% relative to the total binder (calculated dry/dry).
  • Bluesil™ BP 9821 may be added either to the organic binder or directly during the paint formulation.
Product Applications
  • Combined with acrylic or stirene-acrylic dispersions, Bluesil™ BP 9821 enables the formulation of coatings with high water vapor permeability and high liquid water resistance, notably below the cPVC.
  • In matt systems with high porosity (PVC > cPVC), Bluesil™ BP 9821 allows an excellent water repellency (the use of a silicone additive is not necessary) and high wet scrub resistance.
