Key Features

Calcium Stearate VSA-325 is produced from a high quality fatty acid for polymer and all applications requiring a very finely divided calcium stearate powder with consistent physical properties.

Product Performance
  • High surface area and fine particle size is designed to have minimal impact on viscosity in thermoset compounding and provide excellent mold release and surface quality in reinforced thermoset and other molding applications and excellent anti-tack and mold release properties in rubber applications.
  • The consistent particle size and morphology of Calcium Stearate VSA-325 allows for dispersion in aqueous and other media with minimal impact on viscosity compared to conventional grades of calcium stearate.
  • The hydrophobic nature of calcium stearate combined with the very fine particle size and high surface area imparts excellent water repellency to concrete, mortar and other masonry and construction materials.
