Due to its higher rubber content, Clearstrength® 859 impact modifier exhibits unsurpassed impact efficiency at room and low temperature. Clearstrength® 859 may advantageously replace Clearstrength® 223 in new formulations intended to develop higher performance products or to reduce costs through dosage optimization, especially under hot processing conditions.
Color Stability and Processability
The unique structure of Clearstrength® 859 impact modifier makes it suitable to withstand severe processing conditions with minimal effect on heat stability and mechanical properties.
Surface Finish

- Clearstrength® 859 impact modifier is recommended for use in PVC and C-PVC pipes and fittings, high quality technical films, edge-bands, and all applications requiring ultra high impact efficiency, especially at low temperatures.
- Clearstrength® 859 impact modifier is commonly used in formulations for food contact or drinking water conduction.
- Recommended loading levels depend on impact requirement.
