Clearstrength® 859

Clearstrength® 859 is a methylmethacrylate-butadiene-styrene (MBS) core-shell impact modifier designed to meet the most demanding impact performances in injection molding, extrusion and calendering opaque applications. Clearstrength® 859 impact modifier is the next generation Clearstrength® 223 impact modifier, which low-temperature impact performance and processability have made it a leading impact modifier used in CPVC pipes and fittings, furniture films and indoor profiles for over 25 years.

Due to its higher rubber content, Clearstrength® 859 impact modifier exhibits unsurpassed impact efficiency at room and low temperature. Clearstrength® 859 may advantageously replace Clearstrength® 223 in new formulations intended to develop higher performance products or to reduce costs through dosage optimization, especially under hot processing conditions.
