Technical Details & Test Data
- Performance
- The consistency in quality of raw materials and processing results in a product with excellent handling, blending and dispersion properties in powdered metal and a large variety of other materials.
- Controlled particle size and density contributes to optimized performance in admixture with iron powder in terms of consistent apparent densities, flow characteristics and uniform die fill operations.
- Engineered particle size provides rapid and uniform mixing with metal powders, resulting in production of metal powder compacts with excellent green strength and sintered parts with excellent tensile strength and dimensional stability.
- Controlled process stoichiometry produces a zinc stearate that is virtually 100% lubricant with no excess mineral impurities to detract from the lubricant value and add impurities to the powdered metal part.
- The fine particle size combined with the purity of the zinc stearate provides the lowest stripping pressures and best overall lubrication properties for preserving the life of expensive die tooling.
