Features & Benefits

Materials Features
Performance Benefits

Features

  • Zinc Stearate RSN131HS POWDER is produced from a high quality tallow derived fatty acid for polymer applications requiring a high purity powdered processing aid with good handling and feeding characteristics.
  • The outstanding clarity and heat stability set the industry standard for impact and crystal grade polystirene, polyolefins, and other clear polymers.

Performance

  • Low impurity levels ensure high clarity and heat stability to prevent haze and diskoloration in unpigmented polystirene, polyolefins and other clear thermoplastics.
  • Provides acid catalyst neutralization for polyolefins and excellent lubrication and mold release properties in polystyrene and other thermoplastic applications.
  • Consistent physical properties and medium density provide excellent blending and dispersion properties with a large variety of materials.
  • The relatively fine particle size make Code 2287 a good dispersion aid for color and other compounding applications and provides excellent lubrication and surface quality in a variety of resin molding applications.
