Key Features

ZINC STEARATE SW-100 Powder is produced from a high quality hydrogenated and distilllled fatty acid for applications requiring medium density processing aid with good flow and blending characteristics, including thermoset resins, polyolefins and powdered metal.

Product Performance

Consistent physical properties and medium density provide excellent blending and dispersion properties with a large variety of materials. Relatively large particle size and medium density contributes minimally to initial viscosity in SMC mixes, allowing for good glass wet out, while providing good lubrication and surface quality in the molding process. Engineered particle size enhances blending properties with powdered metal and imparts consistent porosity for fabrication of self-lubricating components.
