EBECRYL® 820 is a low viscosity polyester acrylate oligomer, with exceptional pigment wetting properties. This combined with the low viscosity of this material makes it ideal as a pigment grinding resin. EBECRYL® 820 also gives a fast cure response when formulated with other oligomers and cured via ultraviolet light (UV) or electron beam (EB). EBECRYL® 820 is used for the preparation of pigment pastes with high pigment loading. This can be produced using a triple roll mill or bead mill. EBECRYL® 820 can be used for grinding all process colors and spot colors. EBECRYL® 820 has been specifically developed to formulate UV/EB curable inks for sensitive applications such as food packaging.

EBECRYL® 244 is an aliphatic urethane diacrylate diluted 10% by weight with the reactive diluent 1,6-hexanediol diacrylate (HDDA) (1). EBECRYL® 244 exhibits light color and good cure response. Films of EBECRYL® 244 cured by ultraviolet light (UV) or an electron beam (EB) demonstrate good flexibility, toughness, abrasion and water resistance, and are resistant to yellowing.

EBECRYL® 7110 is an acrylated amine primarily used as a hydrogen donor, or photoactivator, in ultraviolet light (UV) curable coatings and inks. When used in formulations in combination with a photosensitizer (e.g. benzophenone), EBECRYL® 7110provides rapid UV cure response in air by mitigating the effects of oxygen inhibition at the coating or ink surface. Unlike conventional tertiary amines such as N-methyldiethanolamine, EBECRYL® 7110 reacts to become part of the UV cured polymer, resulting in lower residual odor and improved moisture resistance. EBECRYL® 7110 also promotes adhesion to plastic substrates and lowers viscosity when used as a primary component in UV adhesives and coatings.
