Additin® RC 9410

Additin® RC 9410 is a mineral oil-soluble liquid that functions as an extreme pressure additive and antioxidant. It enhances the performance of metalworking fluids, hydraulic oils, and gear oils. This product offers excellent demulsibility, wear protection, and corrosion inhibition, ensuring improved performance and longevity of equipment in industrial settings.

    Additin® RC 9410 is an ashless additive package with outstanding EP/AW behaviour, oxidation and corrosion inhibiting properties.
    Industrial gear oils based on Additin® RC 9410 exceed following requirements:

    • Timken OK load
    • Oxidation stability
    • Corrosion protection of steel and non-ferrous metals
    • Wear protection capacity
    • Load-carrying capacity (FZG test A 16.6/140°C)

    Typical treat rate to meet U.S. Steel 224 is 1.8 % by weight.
    Additin® RC 9410 is a low odour additive package with good anti-stick-slip and demulsifying properties. A formulation with 1.8 % by weight Additin® RC 9410 in a mineral oil ISO VG 220 is approved by Cincinnati Milacron P-50.
    Due to its very low smell and its well balanced EP/AW/CI composition Additin® RC 9410 can beneficially be used as a completely formulated additive package for metal working oils. 
    It is recommended to evaluate the suitability of the formulation in field trials.
