- Lubricates when oil films are unable to survive
- Facilitates assembly of close fitting parts
- Special stabilizers and a proprietary manufacturing process produce smaller particles and better stability with BONDERITE® S-AD 1286 ACHESON compared to dispersions made with other MoS₂ powder. In lubricants, BONDERITE® S-AD 1286 ACHESON provides several times greater coverage than dispersed Suspension Grade MoS₂.
- Product Feature:
- Stable colloidal suspension of MoS₂
- Fine particle size distribution
- Extreme pressure, lubricating, low friction MoS₂ particles
- Robust chemical and base oil compatibility
- Product Benefits:
- Minimal mixing costs for blending into your finished lubricant
- Provides cost-effective usage in finished lubricant to provide superior lubrication performance, consumer confidence and repeat sales
- Superior lubrication and wear resistance extends equipment life, reduces maintenance costs and lubricant intervals
- Minimizes formulation costs for achieving stable and effective product

- Usage Instruction:
- BONDERITE® S-AD 1286 ACHESON can be blended with most commercial oils or greases. Henkel will advise and/or evaluate the compatibility of BONDERITE® S-AD 1286 ACHESON with proposed diluents, oils and additive combinations.
In blending operations involving large quantities, the oil should be heated to about 50 - 55°C, since blending is more effective when oil viscosities are reduced. Pre-mix equal parts of SLA 1286 and oil diluent before blending with the balance of the oil. Maintain continuous agitation by mechanical stirring throughout the blending operation. - Treatment Level
For best results, use BONDERITE® S-AD 1286 ACHESON at 1% solids by weight in the finished oil, or approximately 3.4% by weight of BONDERITE® S-AD 1286 ACHESON. - Companion Products
- BONDERITE® S-AD 1275 ACHESON, a colloidal dispersion of graphite in oil, is recommended when the use of graphite is preferred.
- BONDERITE® S-AD 1286 ACHESON can be blended with most commercial oils or greases. Henkel will advise and/or evaluate the compatibility of BONDERITE® S-AD 1286 ACHESON with proposed diluents, oils and additive combinations.
