CARPOL® PGP-1000

CARPOL® PGP-1000 is a propylene glycol-initiated polyether polyol. CARPOL® PGP-1000 has a functionality of two and an average molecular weight of 1000 Da. This diol is polymerized solely with propylene oxide for controlled reactivity. Main applications include C.A.S.E., however, CARPOL® PGP-1000 may also be included as a component in other urethane products and formulations.

CARPOL® PGP-1000 can be acidified to a nominal pH of either 5 or 6 upon request. CARPOL® PGP-1000 is denoted as CARPOL® PGP-1000-50 polyether polyol and CARPOL® PGP-1000-60 polyether polyol, respectively.

  • CARPOL® PGP-1000 will absorb water if its container is not secured properly. This may affect reactivity, appearance, and performance.
  • Therefore, it is advised that all receptacles containing CARPOL® PGP-1000 be tightly fastened and stored in a dry place.
