CARPOL® PGP-3000 is a propylene glycol-initiated polyether polyol. CARPOL® PGP-3000 has a functionality of two and an average molecular weight of 3000 Da. This diol is polymerized solely with propylene oxide for controlled reactivity.

CARPOL® PGP-3000 can be acidified to a nominal pH of either 5 or 6 upon request. CARPOL® PGP-3000 is denoted as CARPOL® PGP-3000-50 polyether polyol and CARPOL® PGP-3000-60 polyether polyol, respectively.
