Plastics
- Ceridust® 1060 Vita is an excellent dispersing agent for active substances such as pigments, fillers or additives in engineering plastics like PA, PC, polyesters and biopolymers.
- The micronized dispersing agent optimally coats the pigment particles due its early melting behavior and neutralizes the binding forces of pigment particles.
- Further Ceridust 1060 VITA prevents pigments from re-agglomeration, eases pigment dispersion and stabilizes the dispersion.
- The dispersing agent already improves the color strength of plastics parts.
Coatings & Inks
- Ceridust® 1060 Vita is easily dispersible in water and solvent-based coatings and shows excellent matting, as well as slip and scratch resistance properties.
- Used in wood coatings, this sustainable wax creates a smooth and pleasant soft touch surface.
- In powder coatings Ceridust 1060 VITA acts as processing aid, provides excellent pigment dispersion for bright colors and improves the surface protection.
- Furthermore, degassing is enhanced especially in low-temperature curing systems.
Agriculture
Ceridust® 1060 Vita is easily dispersible in water and can help for flowability, anti-caking and anti-dusting characteristics in agricultural coatings (e.g. seed and fertilizer coatings).
