- Naugalube® 438L is a nonylated diphenylamine for use as an antioxidant in mineral and synthetic base stocks that are typically employed in lubricant applications. Its liquid form allows for easy handling and blending. Naugalube 438L can easily be incorporated into engine oils, gear oils, hydraulic fluids, turbine oils, and greases. Naugalube 438L provides good protection against degradation due to heat and oxygen.
- High performance transportation and industrial lubricants can be developed using Naugalube 438L as the amine portion of the formulation. Naugalube 438L may be used in combination with other antioxidants such as alkylated diphenylamines, phenyl-α-naphthylamine, and/or hindered phenolics. Typical treat levels may range from 0.05 to 1.0 percent by weight. Typical uses of Naugalube 438L include engine oils, industrial oils, automatic transmission fluids, tractor hydraulic fluids and greases.
Properties
