Pale 1000 Blown Castor Oil commonly known as blown oils have increasing viscosities resulting from oxidative and crosslink polymerization at the double bonds and hydroxyl groups. Oxidative polymerization of castor oil yields products with increased viscosities and decreasing solubility in aliphatic solvents, increasing compatibility with various resins and improved ability to wet and disperse pigments while imparting solvent and abrasion resistance to lacquer systems. The polymerized oils are used to plasticize a variety of resins in adhesive and sealant systems, inks and hot melts. The heavier viscosity polymerized oils are processing aids and plasticizers for rubber polymers, imparting oil and solvent resistance.

GRANOLITE® P is a pentaerythritol ester of rosin, is a light-colored and deodorized resin suitable in various adhesive and road marking Hot Melt formulations.

MARLOX® RT 64 is one of the many low foaming EO/PO non-ionic surfactants produced by Sasol Chemicals in Germany. These alcohol alkoxylates are based on Sasol’s wide range of linear and semi linear fatty alcohols. They are produced by alkoxylation of the fatty alcohols to varying degrees using ethylene oxide and propylene oxide. MARLOX RT 64 is a turbid liquid at room temperature and essentially 100% active.
