Additional Information
  • D.E.R.® 335 Liquid Epoxy Resin is a chemically modified liquid epoxy resin.
  • The chemical modification has a number of advantages over standard bisphenol A liquid epoxy resins, such as low viscosity, no reactive diluent, lower tendency to crystallize than standard bisphenol A based liquid epoxy resin (D.E.R.® 331 Resin).
  • D.E.R.® 335 Liquid Epoxy Resin can be formulated to meet most requirements for civil engineering applications such as concrete bonding, repair, protection, surfacing or resurfacing, sealing or decoration.
  • D.E.R.® 335 Resin can be used in adhesives and solvent-less coatings as well. It is suited for use in applications in buildings both above or below ground, in road and bridge construction, and in underwater applications.
  • Formulations based on this liquid epoxy resin grade excel through excellent flow and a high degree of surface gloss.
  • A wide variety of curing agents is available to cure this liquid epoxy resin at ambient conditions.
  • Most frequently used are cycloaliphatic polyamines, polyamides, amidoamines, and modified versions of these.
  • Such systems are sometimes cured at elevated temperatures to improve selected properties such as chemical resistance and glass transition temperature.
  • If anhydride or catalytic curing agents are employed, elevated temperature and long-post cures are required to develop full end properties.
