- Processing Information:
- As an industrial mold release agent:
- Bluesil™ EMUL 872RH is generally used diluted at concentrations of 0.5 to 5.0 % active ingredients. Dilutions can be made by adding 12-120 parts of water to 1 part Bluesil™ EMUL 872RH with moderate mechanical stirring. The reverse procedure (addition of emulsion to the water) is not recommended.
- The diluted Bluesil™ EMUL 872RH must be applied to clean hot molds (up to 250°C) by spraying, brushing, or wiping with a pad.
- In the Textile Industry:
- Bluesil™ EMUL 872RH may be used as follows:
- For softening effects as an additive to finish formulations
- As a brightener for natural or synthetic furs. The treatment is done using spray or lick roll techniques, and drying occurs under the usual conditions. Bluesil™ EMUL 872RH gives no water repellency to the substrate.
- The quantity of Bluesil™ EMUL 872RH used will depend upon the desired effect and properties.
- Bluesil™ EMUL 872RH may be used as follows:
