Product Benefits
  • D.E.R.® 917 consists of D.E.R.® 331 emulsified in water.
  • D.E.R.® 917 offers low average particle size and narrow particle size distribution which allows good storage stability and excellent film formation without any solvents and/or diluents.
  • D.E.R.® 917 is fully reactive and free of any solvents and/or reactive diluent.
  • D.E.R.® 917 is designed for use in water-thinned, two-pack systems.
  • These systems, used mainly for coatings, are an alternative to solvent-borne or solvent-free polyamide-cured coatings based on low molecular weight epoxy resins.
  • Aqueous epoxy binder systems are used in paints for coating steel in confined spaces, marine paints, protective coatings that can be applied to damp surfaces such as concrete or other non-metallic substrates, water-based mortars, patching compounds, cementitious floorings and for waterproofing structures to improve chemical resistance and upgrade overall performance.
